Hi everyone, I am looking to buy a few deer feeders that I will be putting in my buck pens!   What is out there and what are the best ones people are using?  Thanks for any and all information,   JIM SIMONSON

I have had the 4 stall Thunder Valley feeders for about 8 years now and besides having to replace the bird stoppers in the front they are as good now as day one.

We also use the smaller 4 hole thunder valley feeders

We still feed them every day tho, and try to make them clean em out

any pictures of them?  What are bird stoppers?  Thanks in advance

Check them out on their website. They have a few different options.

Will Thunder Valley have a booth at the Nadefa conference in Tulsa?

I would like to buy one of the cone feeders they sell that attaches to a grain bin. If they are going to be there I would like to see if they would bring us one.

If you have the $$ Mike Ford sells an automatic one from Preiert that you might look into.  Not sure his best contact, but can find him or Lori Ford on facebook to contact them.

I found that making your own is very simple and you can save a little money, especially if you have some old game feeders around. I modeled mine after the thunder valley feeder and it worked very well when I was using is but I prefer a trough feeder that way I can keep a little closer eye on them. Ill post a picture of it when I get home tonight.

I use trough feeders in my breeder pens. I am putting a 5 ton grain bin in the preserve. I want to try the Thunder Valley cone with the feeding tubes on it in there.

Thank you for the number. I ordered one today. Unfortunately they aren't going to the Nadefa conference this year.

I just made this feeder will tell you if it works for the bucks or not    I might have to put more of a lip on the end to keep feed from falling out  I will see!  JIM SIMONSON

I got the hopper from a friend and made the feeder tubes  Maybe it will work maybe it wont!   Thats deer farming at its best!
