What the best type of little shelter to keep fawns out of the rain and wind? And where is the best place to place them so they use them

Here is what I use   only cut one end out of each barrel and screw them together and also have wood screwed to the bottom of the barrels to keep them rolling from wind or deer!  We place carpet in the bottom so the fawns don't slip and drill holes for water and pee to drain out   They work GREAT and are cheap to make!  I get the plastic barrels for nothing!  We place the fawns in them a few times after they are born and they use them a lot!  507-227-9194 call if you have any questions   JIM

place them along fences cuz that is were the  fawns seem to always be!  Just what I think tho!

Pipe or barrels can be slightly buried in the dirt so they don't roll. It is important that both ends remain open. Circulating air is important.
