I shared in the auctioneering duties in this sale for Steve last year and will be back there again this March. This is a huge auction. We sold 1000's of antlers last year plus taxidermy items, guns, etc. Three FULL days of selling. It sounds like this sale will be even bigger in 2012.

Check it out if you can. It's worth the trip to Debuque just to see it.

I would really like to go to this auction, but it is on the same weekend as the NADEFA conf. in Dallas. They were on the same weekend last year too. If the are ever on different dates there would be a lot mor deer farmers there. Darren
 
About how much do they bring. I have a bunch but seems like the prices have been pretty low lately. Would be willing to sell if the price is right.
 
Virgil, Antlers by the pound wouldnt pay for the gas to get there. I would just like to go to see what some of the very top sheds and antllers in the world {both wild and raised} bring. I have a small collection of big sheds from all across North America. Darren
 
It would bring a lot more if it were broadcast for everyone to see and bid but I guess until that happens I unfortunatly cannot be there either. Steve, please consider broadcasting this event. I know we spoke before about this and you could make so much more money. I understand about having people there to bid but you could potentially have it at a smaller venue but have so many more people bidding online.
 
Steve, we dont know each other, but I think Henry is right. Try it once and see what happens. I would be online.
 
we will have a guy with a trailer at the top 30 auction if anyone wants to bring antler to be picked up for our sale
 
the guys from the iowa deer association will be there to pick up antler for us

if they run out of room i can run down with my trailer
 
I will be at the Top 30 all day Thursday and Friday and will have auction flyers for anyone that would like one. I am one of the auctioneers for this sale. Steve and his crew with Circle M Auctions are a great bunch. Steve and Amy help out the Iowa Whitetail Deer Association alot.

Steve and Amy do the auctionering and clerking at the IWDA banquet.

IWDA sets up a booth at their antler auction, with front row viewing of the stage every year.

Last year the IWDA had a 130" class whitetail hunt raffle that we sold chances on tru the year, and then had the drawing at Steve's auction.

Its a great sale, you won't be disapointed if you go.
