Can anyone tell me a little history on this buck, 30-30. Who farm it was on, breeding, etc.

Thanks.

If you are speaking of the buck that was very popular in the early 90's it was owned by a Dr. in Stutghart Ar. when I saw him. He was an impressive animal. He died a couple of years after I saw him and had quite a few notable buck offspring scattered throughout the south.

30-30 was owned by Larry Barter (?). He was the first 300 inch deer. Buckmasters used to open their show with a clip of him. Are you looking for semen?

30-30 was a wild born buck in Trenton, NJ. Fish and Wildlife was going to take the deer away from the owners so they moved him to PA. The original owners finally sold him and within one month he was sold 3 or 4 times and ended up in Oklahoma.

The Dr. was Larry Barger. I was fortunate to actually pet this deer the year following his debut at 30 pt 30" wide. He was a medium size buck that made his antlers seem much bigger.
