Hello, I'm so thankful to find a place to hopefully get some answers and help. We have been bottle feeding 4 fawns and it was going awesome. No problem at all with the bottle, good solid stool, happy, friendly and we loved them. Last night our last fawn passed away and my husband and I are devastated and we have no idea why. They were born on June 24th, and we were feeding them Grober milk replacer Fawn-Gro. The only thing that seemed off about them is that they weren't putting on weight like we thought they should have been. We followed the instructions. They have been eating and drinking water just fine now as well. We're wondering if it had something to do with the milk replacer though? Thoughts? Literally we'd wake up in the morning and find one dead. We found the last one this morning. Has anyone experienced anything like this? Thank you.

Were they bloated at all? Routine temperature checks? Diarrhea? My guess would be enteritis. Did you weigh them and adjust their weight fed to their body weight? Could have possibly been coccidia as well but usually comes with more symptoms and unthriftiness

Assuming they all received quality colostrum or a colostrum replacement shortly after birth. If not, then that would be their demise
