Somehow this thread hasn't been started yet this year. It was a good place to look and show off some very nice "typical" deer last summer. Hope to see some good deer...but I betcha I'm gonna see some GREAT deer!!
28 orange is a son of Rex and a Grand Canyon/PA Geronimo doe
As you can see the Wisconsin deer are way behind on antler growth compared to other parts of the country....it's been a cold spring so the bucks are just starting to poor it on now that we finally have some summer weather...this buck still has some winter hair that hasn't shed off!
CW Big Brown 2 yo out of a thunder doe and soaring eagle son
15449:big brown rear.
Bone Head-had EHD last year and is looking like we would have expected if he didn't- he had great tine length last year hopefully will this year, 2yo wombmate of BigBrown
Thanks mike, All the line breeding for big frames is showing up. It seems like we are getting more and more consistent every year. Texas Tea is a good example of what this line can do!
He ain't gonna make a new SCI world record but Dang he looks good!!! That width alone puts him in a different league than most deer. I wouldn't mind having some of him in a couple of my wide girls here at DCW-Jason
GREAT looking deer. I could really use a couple dozen just like him! LOL....Hmmmmmm... A live breeding to him would make a GREAT donation for our fund raiser??? I know I would bid on it!
OK...I've received too many priv.msgs. for my pictures, so here is Hot Rod @ 2...not really a NET typical but fairly clean. Will try and post his 3 yr old pictures later. Semen is available.
Here is my NET typical. I'm very proud to announce a co-ownership with Heath Walk on this big guy. Last year at 3 (the picture on the right) is a ****-n-span clean NET typical and the pic on the left is him straight on this year. Hopefully it shows just how heavy and wide this guy really is...
Semen is available. Contact me or Heath Walk.
I must say, what an impressive bunch of deer posted here already. That JAILHOUSE is a ROCKIN' - my eye is on that guy for sure. Love that yearling, Gary. I might post that picture of him in the group shot you sent me.
