I've been trying to look for a good book to buy for christmas, are there any good elk farming books that you guys recommend?

"Wapiti Behind Wire" by David Yerex

Its not a recent book,but it tells the story of these large red deer in NZ & how they were utilised in the deer farming industry.The health & feed issues are still pretty current even though the book would be over 20 years old now.

I bought my copy way back when,but I think the Australian Deer Industry Association book shop may still have copies avaliable.

I bought this book a while ago from the North American Elk Breeders Association:

It's 12 years old but still informative.
