Whats the biggest bucks you guys have taken or have taken off yours or another hunting preserve? post a pic if you got em...

Yeah and you can't have the hunter sitting way back away from the animal in the picture either....Lol....just kidding.......

you can tell a big buck when you see one with or without the hunter in the pic. Applecreek and wilderness whitetails have got some sweet bucks on thier places. Anybody have any live pics of some giants on thier preserve? Dead or alive pics it doesnt matter. Big bucks are just fun to see....

shed, u got any good elk shed hunting ground out their???? would love to come out and shed hunt, thing about going to jackson hole wy, to shed hunt late feb, what do u think ???? mule deer also buy want elks ...:)

Use to have the best shed hunting around here but it went to hell real fast these past years. most of the elk dont start to drop until mid to late march. with the amount of people hunting sheds now its a complete joke. To many highschool kids rushing in when the first horn hits the ground and they push out every deer or elk in the area. I've lost alot of interest in shed hunting anymore after all this crap started happening. I remember the days when I hauld a whole trailer full of shed to the horn buyer all in one year. cant do that now. I didn't even look for elk last year during shed season and havent been out looking for deer since november. Buck numbers here are at all time lows and the size of elk now days arent worth racing the whole town up the mtn to pick up a horn hahaha. As for jackson I've heard thats really fun up there and have been thinking about going up there when they open it to shed hunt. Dont know much about it tho...

what do you mean when ( they open up ) in wy, ??? u shur your not just trying to keep UH, for your self LOL .

Theres a place up there im talking about where the elk move from yellow stone and winter. People arent allowed to pick up horns until a set date... wish I could keep UT for me and only me but thats not the case. Honestly UT is the worst place to hunt horns cuz the whole state and thier dogs(People actually use dogs) hunt horns. Be my guest and come hunt horns here haha Ill tell you right where to go where I use to load up on sheds back in the good days. You might find one or two but the hike in and out isnt worth it when there's boot tracks all over and the biggest bull in the area is a 320 or so bull

I've hears that same thing about the boy scouts. I'll have to look for more info about it and get back with you. There's a place up there that isnt fenced but is closed to shed hunting until a certin date that the public can go pick up horns. I've seen pics of trucks and cars backed up for miles all in line to get sent out to look for horns. Its alot like shed hunting anywhere in Utah and close surrounding areas.

someone has told me that people have already gone in and ( hid ) the sheds , when it ( opens ) they just go in and pick them up where they hid them, is this getting nut or what ????

That is ture. Heard of a bunch of different people getting busted for that. except right now I dont know what they'd be picking up becasue all the elk are still packin and wont drop until mid to late march. But people do go out when shed hunting is close and stock pile the sheds and gps them and come back when the season opens

Man ......maybe I should open up my pens to shed hunting and charge a cover charge...:D

or mabe get the sheds from your pens and scarted them out in the ( wild ) woods and charge to ( shed ) hunt them ? opppps has that been done befor ???????????

They might have a hard time finding them if he does that. His little spikes will blend in with the twigs on the forest floor. However that is a good idea just not for DJD Whitetails.
