First time on this site. I have a 5 year old breeding buck who recently has shown signs of neuroligical issues. He is a cross between red deer and Canadian Elk. We are located in Ontario Canada. First signs were in late summer when the animal would walk around in circles. He then dropped his antlers in early December and began regrowth very quickly - this is very early - normal drop is late winter/early spring. I have witnessed the animal walk into the fence or hay feeder like as if he is blind. I caught him walking in circles again yesterday. Animal is not losing weight and looks healthy. Has anyone had an animal behave similar? Any ideas on what could be wrong with it?
