3.5 month old doe fawn......Friday morning she came to her bottle slower than usual and only drank half. Her belly appeared to be sunken in on the sides. Friday afternoon I injected 1.5 Nuflor 1.25 Vita B 1 Banimine 3 Penicillin and 2 Fuso vaccine. Saturday morning, same thing, slow to bottle and again only drank half. Belly still sunk in. Gave her Target Probiotics W-80 then 1 cc of Ivomec inject dewormer. I have used Nuflor, Banimine, and Vita B with great success in these fawns in the past, appears that this little girl needs something else, any suggestions. Thanks Jeff

About 2 hours after the Target, she appeared to be getting a little perky. She is fine today and full of spunk. Looks like the Target put another one back on her feet. Great stuff.

Glad to hear it - keep the w-80 going, they should get a dose of probiotics every day as long as they are on the bottle.

Also, typically it isn't recommended to give a vaccine if there is an illness. Only vaccinate healthy animals, so that the small does of the bacteria in the vaccine doesn't make them more sick and put more stress on their immune system. The anitbiotics you gave probably prevented the Fuso from hurting anything, but also means you likely did not get any benefit from it.

Not until she is healthy. No vaccines when sick, let her be 100% for at least 4 or 5 days before you give a vaccine.
