bred doe question?

I am just starting out and have a choice between 2 bred doe. The first is Elvis doe out of B0065 (BJ x Walks superdoe) Lap AI'ed to KING KONG or the second is a Sundowner Doe out of GX008 (womb sister to Arnold 247@2) Lap AI'ed to X-FACTOR. I am stuck between which one I should chose because KING KONG is a great looking buck, but he doesnt really have any offspring yet, and X-FACTOR is great, but he is also being used by alot of people now. Any Suggestions?

First i would want to know what the back up bucks are because you know you are playin 50/50 odds at best. With that said my choice would be #2..Sundowner frame...loner/lonewood productivity and the throw in x-factor..wowser..I would not worry with how many people are breeding with him.King kong was a great yearling and they say he was good at 2 but where is he or any of his offspring???No pics, not much heard about him at all. They should start popin up soon as i am sure they did some ai work with him and any live breedings before he got shot.

my choice...... , the second one, bred to X-factor, I think the doe side is a little stronger.

Why not buy them both and eliminate the problem,....that's actually a good problem to have

I like the second also. I wouldnt worry about X-Factor getting used alot. With him getting used that much, most of your advertising will be done for you! Plus my opinion is X-factor is one of the prettiest bucks out there this year. Sundowner on Loner, cant beat that!

King Kong is the 2nd largest yearling ever. Remember, his yearlings first racks are this year and if he explodes this year after recovering from near death, your offspring will be valuable.
