I have a doe that didn't take to ai as a yrling and our backup buck turned out to be shooting blanks so she hasn't had fawns yet. I am presuming she cycled last season. If she cycled can i expect twin fawns out of here or will she still have a single as a first timer? I am guessing twins BUT just want to see if anyone had first hand experience on this?

More than likely twins, but who knows. I have seen 2 yr olds give 3 and 8 yr olds go from 3 live covers to a single AI'd. Ya never know

The only does that ever gave me a single were when a fawn is bred at 7-10 months old, then has a late fawn that summer. Every single first time mother that wasn't bred as a fawn, has had twins for me.. I think it's a sure bet she will give you twins. But it's beyond our control so I guess we take what The Lord gives, lol.

Matt..you need to tell me what you are doing man lol. ALL of our 1st time yrlings have singles...and doe to boot. Only one fawn has ever taken and that was this yr and we lost her fawn
