I was very lucky to be able to breed 11 does this past breeding season to a double Big Guy Redridge Whitetails breeder named Two Big. He has that wide typical big frame look and that was something we were looking to add to our herd and boy did we get a big suprise. As the does started to fawn we found ourselves knee deep in big beautiful buck fawns. They kept coming as doubles then triples and then finally after 9 straight buck fawns we finally had a doe fawn. We didn't think much about it until after the last doe fawned and we figured up his numbers and we ended up with 18 buck fawns and only 4 doe fawns. I know every breeding season we are usually a 60-40 ratio either way but what a gift Two Big gave us this year. Very greatful for Josh Newton giving us the opportunity to breed with this beautiful buck and trust me I will be breeding to him again this year with numbers like that. Can lightening strike twice?
