Bugs in one year olds ear

I have a one year old that has a lot of small black bugs in one ear. When you put your finger down in the ear you get bugs and a small amount of blood. Any idea what this is or how to treat her?

dogs can get ear mites, it requires daily cleaning with some liquid and paper towels.


 


Sounds like it might be the same, I have never heard of it in deer.

They are probably those little black knats.(Sp)  I believe if you spray a little Catron spray around and a little on the outside of the inside of the ears you will be fine. Its the stuff used to kill flies and maggots. Works awesome on antler woulds.

Probably ear mites. We had a doe get them a few years ago. We used the drops for dogs, cleared right up.

It looks like gnats to me but I don't know what ear mites look like.

I have had this in the last few days my 2yr old I just sprayed some bluecoat on the inside of his ears and the flies have not touch his ears so far hope this helps..
