Can't find info on a few of these bucks (Rambo, Simply Amazing, Shock N Awe....)....

Jim Simonson from Springfield, MN has Simply Amazing and I believe Amos is back at Fred Huebner's....was at Jim's for many years. Simply Amazing just won the typical category (mature...I think) at the MN Deer Breeders 3 weeks ago.

Amos was at Jim's farm for about 2 years. Jim owns Simply Amazing and is a great looking deer! His number is 507-227-9194

We picked up 34 stocker bucks from Jim last month. Chad and I were very impressed with his operation and professionalism. He has the does that produce big framed bucks. We would give him two thumbs up.

If you like Big Frame Typicals, Here is a couple of the lesser known sires I really like. Both were produced by Barry McGrew of Chelsea IA.



First the old faithful sire:



The old proven sire is AAU Awesome that has produced a bunch of great sons both as a direct sire and Dam Sire. His sons are big framed with long tines.



The newer member to the group is Big Sexy. Big Sexy is one of the prettiest deer I've ever laid eyes on.



Barry has produced a bunch of big 200-270 inch deer. I'm glad he is not too well known. He is the newest member to our "Out of the Loop Club" Welcome Barry and keep on growing them!

Sam, thanks for the kind words. We can't wait to see what Big Sexy does this year, and were also excited about having his first babies hit the ground this spring. That's what I love about this business is the excitement of that next generation.



Oh, and for being a "new" member of the "Out of the Loop Club", I think you might be mistaken. According to my wife, I have been a Charter member of this Club for many, many, years and I never realized it. I'm still not sure about this but my wife insists that I am and who's going to argue with her about that. Not me!!

Thanks Sue, Scott Fier and Scott Follett for the kind words of my operation and deer. We were somewhat blessed with 50+ Simply Amazing fawns last spring. Our semen was lost in the mail the day we were to A I so we used Simply Amazing on almost everything. We are glad to have him and it doesn't hurt he is the womb brother to lester beechey's AMAZON..
