None of our fawns are bottled raised. If we need to medicate them for some reason, we have to herd them into a lean-to. Then my husband grabs them up and I hurry and give the injections. Usually this works. We have a fawn right now with lumpy jaw that I desperately need to medicate but we just can't catch this little sucker:) I don't want to keep stressing him out while he's sick. I know most of you bottle raise (at least) your doe fawns so handling is easier.

What to do??

I'm hoping one of you has an easier way to do this:)

Long handled dip net.............used for fishing. And catch them at last light in the evening or use the net and a very bright light helps.

Thank you guys....awesome!

Anyone else want to respond?

The more options....the better:)

Fawns will always run the fence.....make a lite weight frame 8 feet long with net cover. It hinges at the ground with the fence . A line runs to pulleys on the fence and "clam" them to the fence as they pass . Jim
