I'm proud to announce that Honey Creek Whitetails and Rockin R Whitetails have teamed up and purchased the semen rights of Cowboy for the north. We would like to thank Curt Waldvogel for selling the north semen rights to such an impressive animal.
Cowboy scored 255 @ 1 with a 21" inside and 350+ @2 with a 30" inside before he passed this fall. He also had a womb brother named Freebird that scored in the 300's at 1 when he passed in early August 2011. I would also like to mention Mark Sipes Frequent Flyer is a 7/8 brother to cowboy.
Cowboy has been very limited in the north. To my knowledge there is only one coming yearling this year in the north (excluding Alabama that has a couple). We should see some production out of Cowboy this summer having 10-15 coming yearlings in Texas.
We will be selling 10-15 straws of Cowboy for 2013. At a low price of $1500 a straw. There will be a guarantee on conception from each straw. We will also be protecting our investors by not ever selling a straw for less than $1500. With a little deposit of $500, you can have a straw reserved for the 2013 breeding season. Don't wait, because as soon as his yearlings start growing this summer, his semen will be sold out.
We will not let Cowboy be forgotten. We will be advertising in the major publications; will have booths at the shows and auctions starting this fall. We also will be selling bred does and fawns, at next year’s winter auctions. To show how confident we are in this buck, Isaac and I are breeding most of our herds to him this fall. We have complete confidence that Free Agent and a super sister will produce.
