going to pickup two does in jan in ohio to louisiana what would be the best way crate or trailer long way to pull trailer for two deer any ideas thanks

If it were me, I would use a trailer. Especially if they were bred does. I'm guessing it will be about a 11-12 hour trip( just a guess) and comfort, security and low stress will be a must. Crates do work well for fawns and big deer on short trips but I would say a trailer. Good luck

Yes, I would say trailer also with dividers. Crates will stress a deer way too much on that long of a trip. If you would go the crate way we make aluminum ones. Let us all know how you make out. Good Luck!

Wallace- I have hauled many whitetails from Ohio, Indiana and Penn to Louisiana. It is aleast a 16 hr trip with no traffic delays . We only use trailers, boxes can cause capture myopathy. We may be moving deer from that region to Lousiana during that time frame, call me.337-322-2727
