Starting a preserve in Kentucky may be tough. You will have a very limited amount of producers to buy from in Kentucky. Outside of Kentucky you only have Indiana producers to buy from. If I had a preserve in KY I would be traveling to Indiana and securing all the hunt bucks I possibly could. It will be pretty awkward if you have hunters deposits and they show up at your hunting ranch and they don't see anything. There are several preserves currently operating in Ky and competition is fierce for both clientele and hunt bucks. If a deal seems sugar coated beware!
