I have a doe that has liquid diarrhea. She is fine, eating well, no weight loss ....but obviously something is wrong. I had a sick doe a week ago....limed her pen, cleaned everything out, then let the other doe's in.....worried maybe she picked something up. Took her stool sample to the Vet's...nothing found. I have Kayo, pumpkin filling, probiotics, from first sick doe....what to do? I;d have to sedate this doe if I needed to inject her with anything. My husband seems to think it has to do with him giving them melons the other night.....just loose stools from fruit. I figured that would make them soft but not liquid. No-one else is sick except her. No foam from mouth, no staggering, she's acting fine other than the diarrhea. What would you guys advise I do?
3cc of Nuflor and Sulphurdioxide in the water for 3 days has worked for me in the past.
Follow up in two 2 days with another 3cc nuflor. If you have to dart her, I would worm her and give her 3cc of C&D antitoxin. Again just what has worked for me.
