What has been the been the least and what has been the most amount of days some of your ai does have gone. Also what has been average amount of days your deer carried fawns.

I have heard of fawns being born as early as 188 days and as late as 220 days. This is just what I have heard, we have seen an average of about 200 days, but opinions vary.

Later

My earliest has been 185 and generally 192-195 day is the peak. No fawns from AI after 205 days. With backup going in at 18-20 days after breeding.

This year had two does come in at 188 days. Ai'd to Maxbo and Silverstorm and both yearlings.

We discussed this topic in From the Experts in the Spring 2009 issue of Deer Tracking.

Lots of calls have come through the office in our 11 years and we know of births 184 up to 213 days, but industry standard is 196, or 200 days according to science.

Our gestation chart showed based on a 190, 196, 200 and 205 day window.

At 196 days, if your does fawned today, they would have been bred on Nov 5.

Dc just curious if any of your AI girls look like they will have fawns from AI? Like I said last fall they sometimes breed even though they are pregnant as the male forces the issue. I had a Cyclone/flees doe I saw breeding on Dec 6 and figured she didn't take from AI. Well guess what she had three Ice fawns today which is 191 days from AI. I hope you can have the same luck.
