Just looking for opinions on what could cause a dull coat on a fawn. Have two bottle fed 7 week olds right now, one buck one doe. Both went through a period of scours about a week ago, seemed to clear up with pumpkin, bucks a little faster, doe still softer consistency, almost pelleting now. I assume it is not diet because they are on same milk. Doe is just skinnier than I would like and just noticed her coat is very dull, thin, and losing spots. Seems too early for the winter coat to be coming in, though not unheard of. Its the dullness that worries me, buck is bright orange almost and she is just very dull faded tan. She acts normal, may not be as active as buck but not lethargic. Going to try some rice bran to get some weight on her and B12 in case it is just taking her longer to recovery from scours. Already adding electrolytes and probiotics. Thanks
