We have a doe fawn that is 3 weeks old tomorrow. These has healthy as can be up to yesterday she started having really loose stool. We got that under control and then went out this morning for there feeding and one of her eyes was matted shut with gunk. The onther looked fine. It looked allot like when we get pink eye lol. Anyway I need some suggestions on what to give her to treat this. Thanks

Terramycin( Oxytetracycline Hydrochloride)

Antibiotic Ophthalmic Ointment with polymyxin B Sulfate!

Clean its eye well with baby wipe and then put the Ointment in the coner of its eye. Make sure to not get it around any other fawns. Will run wild through your fawns! Good Luck!

My little doe fawn is having a eye problem as well. Both eyes have discharge but one is badly swollen in the front bottom corner. This is my first fawn so not really sure. I have been cleanning with baby wipes. One other thing she had a few ticks on her eye lids when I first pulled her from mom.

Pfizer makes the ointment that I have had success with but has been hard to find lately. I just searched e-bay and they seem to have some. It works very well for pink eye.

We are currently having this problem with our bottlefeds we need help. We have tried the medicated ointment creams from the vet as well as la200. It is spreading like wildfire and we have lost a fawn due to this. Please give any and all ideas. We can't afford mentally to loose another fawn. Thanks guys. This forum has been a life saver in the past, lets try it again.

We had this issue. It turned out that Nuflor or Resflor fixed it. Keep in mind, with us it was the first sign of pneumonia. It could be something different.
