Fawn Drinking Height?

I just bought and installed a Ritchie livestock waterier. Very easy to install and looks like it's going to work well, but I am a little concerned about the drinking height. It's 18" inches tall. To me it looks like it could be a little tall for fawns??? Just wanted to know if anyone uses this fountain, and is it OK for fawns? It sets on a 4" inch slab I poured for it, so they have something to stand on.

Is 18" inches too tall for a fawn to drink? I can keep the water level up to the edge of the fountain at all times. They maker a smaller unit for goats, but im not going to replace it if the one i got will work. Any replies will help!
