I am new to deer farming this year and I would like to thank everyone on here that is active. I have found lots of good information to help me with dealing with my fawns.
3 weeks ago I had a doe fawn break her back leg between the hip and knee. I was devastated and had no idea what to do. After scouring through these forums I found several posts that talked about broken legs and most of them said to leave it be and it would heal it's self. I was very skeptical of this method however I did it. After 3 weeks from the break she has now started to put weight on it and other then a slight bump on the leg she is very healthy.
Thank you to everyone on here for all your help and knowledge for those of us that are new to the industry.
