Just wanted to update you all...

She is now seeming fine! After staying up until 4am and feeding her the probiotics, gas drops, and some warm water with baking soda...she is looking like normal. She is just getting her appetite back. it might not have helped that the hole on the nipple was made larger to get her to eat easier so now we have got a new nipple with no large hole. She did not like sucking all that much today. She did more licking and putting the bottle in her mouth and pulling away. She did drink a bit of very watery red cap milk. So hopefully tomorrow she will be eat better. Thanks again for all your help.

Just because she acts better today, do not get her back on a regular diet right away. keep her to a little milk and more water and probiotics and electrolytes for at least another 24 to 36 hours. Increase her milk intake gradually. If she has what I think, clastridium, she could start all over again if you feed her to much to fast. I would still get the C/D Antitoxin in her 10cc SQ right away along with 5 cc pennicillian SQ and 5cc penicillin down the mouth or in the next bottle. This stuff is deadly if you do not treat it. I have been battling it for 7 days now. All our deer got over it in 2 days, but one has had it back and forth for a week. I have kept her alive with lactated ringer, tubing her, and a lot of probiotics and activated charcoal. This case of clastridium is bad. Good luck!
