At what age will the fawns really start eating the grain ? I have had calf mana out for then since about day three . I have saw them pick at it a little but not much .

We have three bowls in each pen fresh water every day, calf manna, and fresh black dirt every 3 days. My fawns are 3 weeks old and eat about 2 handfuls of calf manna a day and started drinking water this week. Just make it available to them.

It does vary from fawn to fawn, but usually after 3-4 weeks they will start eating grain. Jenwa is right, just make it available to them.

I have three in one pen that are about 3 1/2 week's old. The eat a few pellet's but not much. I see them eat a lot of white clover and grass.
