I have a Doe fawn that was abandoned by the mother and I have had her 3 weeks yesterday. Im not sure how old she is but guessing she is about 6 to 7 weeks old. My question is this... I have her inside because of no place for her outside,( I do take her out to run and play ) so do I need to feed her a milk more often or just the 3 times a week? dirt, grass, and Caf Menna is available to her all day and she nibbles some what... she only still has the 4 teeth she had when I got her.

Wow , I would think by 6 or 7 weeks of age you'd want her getting on some dry grain and surely free choice water along with the milk your giving her . Heck I put mine on free choice water and probiotics at 1 week and let them eat all the grain they want as well as some roughage by the time they're 6 weeks or more . I know we all choose different avenues when feeding our deer but staight milk at 6 weeks ?

Wooden Acres.....dirt, grass, and Caf Menna is available to her all day and I freshen it often....she only still has the 4 teeth she had when I got her.
