Fencing requirements

Check with your Fish and Game or if your lucky the Dept of AG as they would be in charge of you and license you and would have the requirements for fencing.

Are you inquiring about a shooting preserve? If so I am pretty sure Alabama requires a minimum of 200 acres.

I recently tried to nail this down (regarding a shooting preserve, not a breeder pen) with the ADCNR a while back and could not get an answer from them. They gave the generic answer "reasonable chance of escape", which is so subjective. Johnny B do you know where you got the 200 acre number from? Would love to have some sort of reference. Thanks for the help.

Best bet on breeding pens is to consult with the local enforcement officer. The one issuing the license. Take him out show him what you have in mind and I'm sure he will let you know.
