FFA's National Alumni toured Apple Creek's new fodder plant which produces 2-3 tons of fodder per day. They where exited to see a consistent controlled forge production at a fraction of the cost of protein pellets. Our next tour open to deer farmers will be during the Whitetails Of Wisconsin picnic on August 10. All are welcome!

Heres a link from my place feeding fodder last winter the deer really love it it took a few days to get em into it but now its their treat. There is no waste at all even now with green pens its still all cleaned up every evening. Scott great video nice to see it in a full scale set up. looks very impressive thank you.

This stuff is incredible. The adults love it and the fawns are really starting to hit it now!

I have been feeding fodder for three months now. This is the REAL deal. Watch the video, it is WORTH YOUR TIME!!!! I have saved lots of money on a very small scale farm

Where would be a good place to purchase a fodder system?

Todd, what size fodder system do you have?

How many deer do you feed?

Mine only consists of 28 trays. I feed 4 trays per day weighing about 20 pounds each. That is feeding 20 adult animals and 10 fawns. I still offer full feed and alfalfa. They just eat a lot less of the feed when given the fodder. They pretty much immediately eat the Fodder when I put it out. My system is really primitive. I am going to the WOW picnic to see how to modernize it. Scott has done a ton of research on doing this the right way. Im sure I will be tearing mine down and starting over after seeing his.
