Foamy Poop in Fawn...What could it be?

Fawn born on May 25th. Feeding red-cap. He's eating well and acting fine. He's on a second round of Metronidazole antibiotic for the Crypto parasite. Stools had been mucusy/liquidy. Started on Probiotics, plain yogurt and Electrolytes with an occasional Pepto dose worked in. Got the stool starting to paste up and look better for a day or two...now it's turned a light brown/yellowish FOAM with gas passing with the stool. What could this be? From the parasites, the treatment protocol, or is this another problem that we should be concerned about?

Any help would be appreciated more than you know. Please and Thank You!

Hi Scott. The crypto was diagnosed by our vet who came out to do an exam and took and tested stool samples. She said both fawns tested positive for Crypto. The antibiotic script was called in to our local compounding pharmacy. Dosages for other things were suggested by the vet also. This Crypto is hard to get rid of and what awful scours it creates!
