Georgia deer farmers association?

Did anyone get there application for the GDFA? Mine came with the newest AL deer breeders publication. I did not know that GA was so close to being able to raise deer in pens. Pretty cool, I heard that they are going to have closed borders between AL and GA. Does anyone know if this is true? If so it is great news for AL deer breeders.

Johnny I think Will or Ricky Cleveland would be up to date on the Georgia status. I believe they have been closely involved.

Hey there Mr. Green, I had got wind that they played big roles in that. I am glad to hear that another state is opening up. How did your AI go this year, do all your does seem to have settled? I am the guy that was doing the AI at Mr. Hall's in Union Springs back in November.

Good to put a face with a post, johnny b. my AI went really good. We gased 30 deer, used one bottle of isoflurane @ $45 that's $1.50 a deer. Five minutes later they walked out. No kicking, bucking, fighting, they are all doing well. I'll keep you posted on Georgia.

I believe the House Bill that is being presented will allow for all importation from any certified farm from any state. Thats what all of us should be fighting for, all states open for everybody!!! can I get an AMEN!
