Right on Gaylen....we "excercise" every deer we own all summer long and when it comes to running them for anything, they know exactly where to go and its totally no big deal. One pen per day/night continuously all summer. The does are exercised as soon as the fawns are old enough and the bucks are exercised all summer long while docile. Our bottle fed does are the easiest to work although some seem to have a problem with tame does. Most of our does (except the wild ones) come right out the gate and we can take a specific doe out very easily....we just walk them down the alley and put them in the holding facility or holding pen. We use a 4-wheeler to get a whole pen out since we still have some wild ones. We have quite a long alley and with a little training, we don't have any problems.
