I am looking for a feed calculator. Here is what I want it to do. Say I enter into the calculator a feed ration that I am thinking about feeding to my deer. For example:

600 pounds corn

500 pounds oats

500 pounds pellet

100 pounds Whole Roasted Soybeans

100 pounds molasses

100 pounds BO Sunflower Seeds

100 pounds vitamin E

(no this is not my recipe, just made it up for this example)

Once I enter all that in, I want the calculator to tell me what my protein, fiber, fat, etc would be on that feed. There has to be one, I just cant find it.

Todd,

You can use Microsoft excel to do the calculations for you. if you know how much protein and fiber ect per pound the individual components contain you simply insert a formula to the adjacent cell and it will total it for you. at the bottom of the total column select a cell and insert the auto sum formula and it will calculate for the batch. If you could e-mail me the nutritional values i would be happy to set you up a spreadsheet to get you going. Another option would be to pay a programmer to write a specialized program for you.
