October 23-26th, the United Special Sportsman Alliance (USSA) and Illinois Bowhunters Society (IBS) will hold its 12th annual dream hunt in Shawnee National Forest. Twelve youth with special challenges get to match wits with the areas whitetail deer and enjoy the comradeship of a real hunting camp. Since 2003, the Illinois Dream Hunt has touched the lives of 137 youth and their families from 20 different states. The lodging for these families is graciously donated by Camp Oxford Church Camp in Rudement, IL.
