Indy Mid America Auction Oct. 1-2

Missouri Whitetails lot #53

This Pretty Boy/Little Boomer doe will be live covered to Rolex!!!

Gene Flees told me that when they crossed Pretty Boy on Little Boomer does they always produced huge, now cross Rolex( one of the greatest sires ever) in their and look out. This is the chance at a true foundation animal bred the best way we can offer.

Years ago when I bred with Flees Buddy, Wilderness had 3 and 4 year old bucks out of Pretty Boy. Four bucks in each age class and all were out of Little Boomer daughters. Seven out of this group of eight Pretty Boy sons scored 200+". The one that didn't was injured. I chose to breed with Buddy since he had width and was out of Little Pebbles who is a good producer for them and she was a full-sister to Poncho.

Joe C,

I have a sweet little yearling doe that will be breeding this year that is out of Bucky and Little Pebbles. I am stoked at what she will do for us here! We call her Bubbles. Get it? Bucky and Little Pebbles make Bubbles:)

Hello everyone and thank you for taking a look at my lots we have for later this week in the Indy Mid America auction taking place Oct 1st and Oct 2nd 2009.

Our lots are featuring Updraft for the most part. Updraft semen is almost sold out for this year. There are only a few straws left.

The 2 lots we are offering is a great way for those who don't do A/I to get some Updraft in their herds.

Here is Updraft's pedigree. Take note of O-105 in the anchor line. She is the grandma to Maxbo Hardcore.

And here is Updraft on Aug 21st 2009 at age 2.

Updraft will be live bred to a set of twin Avalanche does and one lot is a choice of those 2 does. This lot is on page 10 and is lot #11 in the auction.

Here is what the pedigree will look like on this lot.

Both of these does have big button buck fawns this fall. These Avalanche does go back to a double bred Mr Awesome doe that was a super producer for us. Neither doe is bottle fed.

Our second lot is on page 36 and is lot # 58 in the auction.

This is a 2009 doe fawn out of Updraft. You can be one of the first in the country to own an Updraft daughter.

Below is the pedigree for Cagney a 2009 doe fawn.

The dam to this fawn is Madison. Madison's first son is Contrail and was our biggest yearling this year. He was scored at 150 2/8"@1 with a broken tine that would have added about 4 more inches to this score.

Contrail is labeled in the group picture below. He is to the far left side.

As I stated earlier Updraft semen for this year is almost sold out. We are limiting semen sales each year in order to maintain Updraft's value to those who have invested in him.

I want to thank everyone who has decided to use Updraft in their breeding programs this year.

Note: The second week of Sept we put Updraft down to work on his antlers to avoid infection, and at that time he was unofficially rough scored at 255 3/4"@2 by myself. I feel very confident that when he is officially scored later this October he will top that score.

If anyone has any questions please feel free to contact us at 715-212-5640. The phone number in the sale booklet next to each lot is wrong.

We will also be at the sale and have a booth setup with video and more pictures.

Thank you all for looking,

Roger
