Thanks Chad.  It's amazing to see how far Texas Tea has come over the years.  Of course we may be a little biased, but I don't think it's possible for anyone to deny his production at this point.  The coolest part of all of this is that we started just like so many others in this industry.  Built our first pens by hand with only a 4-wheeler and a winch!  No other tractors or equipment.  We've also been EXTREMELY generous over the years to many, many small farms... reducing our semen price and giving so many others a chance to follow in our foot steps.  I'm a little surprised to see the lack of support for this incredible yearling here on deer forums.  Over 300 views and only 2 replies other than myself. This should be something to be celebrated for any small farm trying to make it in the industry.  And let them all know that it is possible to break through and make a name for your farm.

That's ok... we will continue to take care of our customers the way we always have.  Regardless of the lack of support shown here.

We only have 9 straws left of G-Tea for the North this year.  Price is $2500/straw... very reasonable price for a yearling that just sold for $340,000!

Thanks for looking everyone.

Mike he IS an awesome yearling ,you should and am sure you are proud of him!! I am very proud to say that I have a Texas Tea/ RDM Goliath yearling in my pen and he's going to be something special!! I hope to meet you someday Mike! Keep up the good work! Charlie.

Mike,

I too am surprised at the lack of responses of many posts.  I'm a small farm that started very slowly with the belief that hard work would pay off in time.  I just began to market my first breeder, Lake Effect.  I have loved Tea since I saw his antlers at the PA Fall sale two or three years ago.  I wanted to breed with him then but I've kind of missed the boat on that one.  Actually, at that auction I bought a Tea doe AI'D or live bred to Energizer from Ward Whitetails but she died of EHD before I picked her up.  I've been wanting to talk business / marketing with you for a while.  Maybe we'll get a chance to talk at the Fall Sale.

Thanks Charlie and John.

Charlie - would love to see your Tea son.  I'm always interested to see all of his sons.

John - feel free to call me anytime.  I'm always happy to try and help someone that has invested in our genetics... regardless if you bought it from me or someone else.  Perhaps I can help with your situation.  Just ask anyone that's done business with us... we STAND behind our customers/supporters.  Again - I'm only a phone call away.

And I don't think you missed the boat John.  Tea's oldest sons are only 3 this year.  And with ranches like Lonehollow behind him now and all of the sons that keep showing up, I don't think he's going away anytime soon.

I dont think its a lack of support Mike. I think its like...Oh another big Tea son. LOL  It seems like they are on a couple farms in every state.  Sure cant say thats a bad thing.  Is there such a thing as "To Good" unreal what that breeding is putting out. I know i am glad i have a big son out of him and he will be bred heavy again just as last year as a yearling, as to how i can say has my biggest buck fawn on the farm as his son this year so far.

Myself and Ny thanks you for the support in the past, that's for sure!

He's definitely a great yearling!! We hope to make one we can call our own this year. Can't wait to see what our "Tea Girls" produce!

Congrats!

Congratulations to Lonehollow Whitetails for raising G-Tea!! Jeff and Brandon are really fine gentlemen. Also, congrats to the buyer, WillPenn Whitetails!! Best wishes to you all!!  Gary Boyd

Michael i think its because we get so used to seeing big bucks we forget to Congratulate people when we see Big deer,

Congrats on a super nice Tea Son!!!!

nobody is talking on these forms any more it has been the most boring year on these forums since I started

Congratulations on another great yearling mike

I get it... there are a LOT of great bucks out there.  But I have to disagree that this is "just" another big Tea son.  For those paying attention to the Texas market, Lonehollow happens to be one of THE top farms in the great state of Texas.  Their breeding, marketing and production are second to none!  And they also happen to be great folks to deal with.  The fact that their biggest yearling out of over 200 yearlings this year is a pretty big deal.  It's not everyday one of the top farms in the nation promotes something other than their own line.  In fact, it rarely happens.  So this is quite an opportunity to get in on the ground floor with a great buck and incredible ranch standing behind that buck!

Contest for biggest tea son per state would be good for me as well. I think I have the only tea son in South Dakota :)

Also I love what you have done congrats!!
