Irritated Ear

Anyone else have any problems lit this? Only one young doe has this problem. this stared out when she lost the hair inside both ears, and it was red and irritated. As you can see now, continued irritation due flies/insects. Unsuccessfully attempted to get some permethrin sprayed on her head/ears, to get some relief from the flies. Seem to be the exteral part only, inner part of the ear appears to be normal. How would you treat this? This may have been covered on a past thread, but I did a search on ear, and didn't have any luck.

Thanks,

Zane

Looks like ear mites. I had one a few years ago that presented the same way. We got some ear mite drops from a local pet store and it cleared right up.

Looks like mites to me. I've seen lone star ticks in the south with much of the same reactions on the ear.
