Calling all Kansas deer farmers. I would like to talk with you.



All of the normal newbie questions apply.



On a side note how many of you produce your own feed?

Your Kansas association meeting is coming up shortly that will be a great place to meet fellow Kansas farmers. I attended last year and it was a good time

Im visiting a local farm on friday, But it is a fairly new operation as well.

I visited the farm today. I did not take any pictures, but the folks who owned the operation have been helpful. .

The Kansas Cervid Breeders Association's annual meeting is January 19, in Garnett Kansas at Valley View Elk Ranch. There will be dozens of deer and elk breeders there. I am the president of the association. Shoot me an email and I can get you more info. Thanks!

not to high jack the thread but i am also interesting in starting a small herd of whitetails. and need to know how to obtain a deer permit in the state of kansas and the guide lines I need to go by. thanks Brock
