Im in kansas and needing to get Tb and brus. Certified. Ive been trying to find info on getting certified but not having much luck. If anyone has any info it would be greatly appreciated
Call the State Department of Agriculture or other governing agency. They now have a blood test for TB, which makes the process much easier. You can also contact your herd veterinary.
You will need three annual test for both TB and Brucellosis to become certified. If it is done at the right time of the year, you can become certified in a little over two years.
I have been testing in January. We usually get a warm spell of weather sometime in January known as the January thaw and the does have been bred and the bucks are stating to drop antlers and it just has worked good for me.
Say I was just getting into deer breeding. And I bought all my deer and they were TB and brus. Accred. And cert. would I then be accredited and certified?
