From what I understand after Jan 1, 2012 ALL deer have to be TB Tested / Bruc certified AND CWD Monitored AND have health papers to move anywhere including from farm to farm inside the state. Although this is still under discussion and may change. This was discussed at the meeting in Jeff City last week with no clear solution, so take it for what it's worth.
 
Jeff Mark has it down pretty well what are state vet said . Faye and I was at the meeting she is going by the book. Bill & Sam told them up front there going to fight to get it change. I think there other things going on then we know.If I here anything I will let you know.
 
If they force that upon us, there will be another incident like the one in Ohio, probably more than one more. Has a single whitetail ever been tested positive for TB, I don't believe so. Tell them to test ALL the f_ _king cattle that 99% of the population eat. Free country my ass, each state is its own country.
 
We brought all those points up at the meeting. Kind of like talking to a wall in my opinion. Sam and Bill brought up a bunch of real good points and they danced around them like politicians. Just going to have to wait and see what happens. We also told them that the smaller farms would not survive this move, and they would force good people to do bad things, but they didn't seem to care. Maybe their trying to improve the states genetics to compete with Il, Ia, Ks, and Oh, who knows. It just seems stupid to me, but I'm just another pion like most everybody else.

What incident in Ohio? Not aware of anything changing here.
 
I think he's referring to the gentleman that let all his exotics go. I believe a lot of them were big cats. At least that's my assumption.
 
Is all this fuss because you have to have your deer tested??? I don't get the problem. It's a pain in the butt and most likley not needed but i thought this was normal for all states..It is in our's that's for sure!!!
 
I have my doe herd where I want it, so it does'nt matter to me if I sell any does. I've been breeding for shooter bucks only and selling them in Missouri only and doing fine with it. So last year I did not retest the herd and now they change these rules during the game like a sore losing child. **** like this is why people become anti government.
