Okay,

Well in planning layouts of pens one design places the end of a leach field line in the pen. Now my question is will this cause problems with sickness? I know that you can't have cattle or horses on them because of weight but do any of you see a problem? Also I was thinking if we built that pen we could build a privacy fence around this area or add to the line and extend it past the pen. Well like always I trust you all and thank you in advance for your advice.

Memory Lane. I used to install septic systems for 10 years and the system will still work because it is a leach field. Which means the gray water will go down, some will evaporate but most will leach a mound system works the opposite . With that said I have to say at this point to consulted with an installer in your area would be good idea,if it was me I would extend the field as much as you can therefor insuring two things,it will be big enough, one and two you won't have to go back and do it when you have deer in the area. I know of one fella that has his whole system in his pen and it has worked great for the last ...Ten Years... Trees, cedars, grass grows great!! Hint Hint!!!! Good luck! Ex. Turd Herder!!!

I agree with Charlie, Having been in the construction field 25+ years. Any tree or plant that likes and can deal with moisture will absorb and use any excess water from your leach field and will do great and grow fast!

Best of Luck
