I have a 3 day doe fawn. When she stands her back left leg twists outwards. HELP! I think she slipped. We did hear it pop a couple times when we picked her up. I can't tell if it's the knee or hip. Will it heal? What do I need to do for her. It's a holiday weekend and vets aren't open. She uses the leg bends it and walks. Little unstable but she is 3 days old. We're at a loss on what to do. She doesn't cry if we turn the leg in when she is standing. She is taking bottle good.

I spoke with a friend that raises deer as well and showed them a video clip of the leg. They said it was a calcium deficiency and reg bottle feeding will fix it. With the reg feeding we are doing it has helped a ton! Yippy!

But I have another quick question. What vit b suppliment do we give? Is it reg vit B12 or vit b complex?
