I have a buck fawn that is about 4mths old he is bloated with a low temp. Have given him antitoxin, thiamine, Bose, wormer, penicillin and b complex. Not sure what is going on with him. This is not the first fawn that has had this. Any suggestions.

Gave him 8 cc of antitoxin 4 on each side and 1 cc of penicillin. His temp is at 100.7 now but I have him on a heating pad. He can not stand on his own now and have also been giving him Iv fluids.

He is still bloated and is temp is 102.1 now and walking on his own. He is not the first one we had do this but unfortunately the others passed. Not sure what is going on.

Thats great that hes up...we have had an incredibly bad run with bloat in a lot of our fawns over the last two years.....feel free to contact us if youd like. I can share our protocol for what its worth, dont claim to be a bloat expert but sometimes more INfo is better than none. If u feel u may have him under control thats great too!!
