JUST RELEASED!

Midwest Whitetail Deer Sales and Damon Thorpe have just entered into a contract to partner The FIRST EVER North/South (Texas) auction to be held in Dallas/Fort Worth, Texas on September 24-25, 2009.

This one of a kind auction will be showcasing 30 breeders from the North and 30 breeders from the South (Texas). Each breeder will be allowed 2 lots each. There will also be 10 lots of select hand picked Semen from the North and 10 lots of select hand picked Semen from Texas.

This will be one event you don't want to miss. Bringing Texas and the North together for the first time for one extraordinary Whitetail Auction.

Deadline is July 20th, 2009.

That's awesome news! I've been waiting to see a deal like this come through. I know that there were numerous people that were very instrumental in getting this done and I'd like to thank all of you for making it happen. Can't wait for this one.

I just wish since it is a North/South sale they could have had the auction in the central part of the country ...........but if you want to be there bad enough I guess you will travel

After knowing just a fraction of what it took to pull this off... they could have it in Mexico and it would be worth it.

Thanks for the reply guys. After a lot of thought we decided on Dallas/Fort Worth area because Texas is so big. Texas is the size of 1/2 of the United States. By locating the sale in the upper third of Texas, the site really is in the middle or Midwest. To make a sale like this work for everyone, we must have a location anyone can get to, as well as make it accommodating for both sides involved. This will be a big step for Texas breeders and maybe even a bigger step for the Northern breeders. I feel this can be a win, win for both sides. We are very excited and we will be forwarding more details as they become available. Stay tuned for the location to be announced in the next 2 weeks. Again the sale will be September 24-25, 2009. Mark it on your calendar!!!
