Man sentenced to probation for beheading buck



Dustin Jernigan will also be asked to pay $80K in restitution.

A 21-year old Haines City man has been sentenced to four years of probation for beheading a 12-point breeding buck.....

Now to me, that sentence is a joke for the crime. 'round here he'd better be looking over his shoulder for those four years if not longer....... what a shame. Good luck to the Shadd's in the restitution portion......They need it if the same judge is presiding over that.

In Texas, poaching is a felony, with a penalty of 2-10 years in prison and a fine of $2,000-$10,000, plus the associated stripping of rights and privileges that come with a felony conviction.



That is, if he doesn't get shot by the land owner first....

So why isn't the animal rights wacko's after this guy?

Oh wait, they would then have to side with a deer farmer. Nope, can't do that no matter how much the animal was tortured by the jerk!
