I thought it would be interesting to see what publications everyone gets and keeps for reference throughout the year.

never heard of the Deer Breeders Gazette out of PA . any info on how to get it?

I notice that 10 have said "other". Can someone give us some idea of what those other pubs are please?



Also I notice that the numbers for the Whitetail Buyers Guide are low compared to some of the other pubs. I am wondering if this is because they just are not on the mailing list yet (it is a free magazine to get it) or is this because they don't like the magazine and therefore don't keep it?

NOTE: I am not part of the magazine, I am just curious is all. Trying to learn some stuff.

I like Tracks magazine which is published by the TDA.

Info like this helps those who publish these magazines so they can learn what it is us readers are looking for, and it also helps everyone decide where they want to spend their ad money.

The Deer Breeders Gazette is a 32 page publication that goes out to over 3000 deer farmers in the United States and one to Canada

We print 8 issues a year (more if we have the time...i.e. Special Editions)

It costs only $10.00 a year to subscribe.

I would like to find a site or location where us new farmers can sign up for upcoming auctions. By the time we find out about it it's to late to put anything in because the catalog is already published. Is there a website or somewhere to signup for cervid auctions??

You have to join the TDA. I believe you can join at any level and you receive a mag. every two months. Very informative magazine.

The "other" publications that i recieve are the Texas Deer Association and the Deer Breeders Co-Op. Both located here in Texas.

Thanks to those who included what their "other" vote was for.

I hope this poll helped some learn about publications that are out there you didn't know about, and I hope it helped those who run the publications see how there publication is liked. As well as how we get our best dollar in advertising.
