We are sadden by the lost of Marty-GRAS.He was the back bone of our operation. He had produced some of the biggest typical deer in the country.we had just took a 3 year old son of his on the ranch that was 24 inside 16 inch G2 .He was a buck that has never been sick or maybe better said he has never been treated for an illness. We will miss him,but his genetics will travel on.Good luck to everyone.Twinlakes paradise Mark Pierce

mark,

Sorry to hear about Marty GRAS......but what a blessing to enjoy him for all those years...he will live on through his offspring that is for sure! Awesome buck!

Mark when I first met you I could not beleive the big two year olds you was shooting out of Marty-Gras.Most of them had nice tines, and was nice and wide. Ever one of my Marty-Gras bucks was nice that I raise on the farm.He was a great sire for the deer industry.

Mark, sorry to hear about MG, I also remember being blown away when I first came to your farm and and seen for myself what he was producing. Marty Graw and his offspring have had a MAJOR impact on our farm.Hats off to him. The next time we go to Texas, I know of a great Mexican resturant where Steve, Troy, You and I can eat. Marty Graw was a good one.

Sorry to hear about Mardi Gras he has been a great producer. He won't be forgotten.

Mark, Sorry to hear about Marty Graw. He was a great buck, we will be AI'ing this year with a straw from him. His genetics will live on for many years to come.

Mark,

We have always been a fan of Marty Gras. You must be a great health care provider to keep him healthy 10 years. Here is a testament to the typical power of Marty Gras. Sorry for your loss and thanks for allowing many to share in his greatness.

Sorry to hear about Marty Gras. I haven't seen too many bucks who's offspring could be seen and I'd know who their sire was. Marty Gras really passed down his look-THE look. Do you have any pictures from recent years?

Martygraw is one of those sires who without question produced. If you were looking for big typicals he got the job done. He was in my opinion one of the best sires in the country. His legend will be remembered through his sons.

This was a nice one,not the biggest deer in the world but has the look

Bad deal Mark, you know Martygraw was always my favorite. He produced no matter what he was bred with, any line, any cross. Even his does produce when crossed with anything out there. His sons are really starting to show their power as well. I just hope we can keep him in our program for many years to come. I know as long as we do, we will have some bruisers wandering around the pens. I just feel privileged to have been able to watch him in person for the years I had the good fortune to come and see him.

RIP Martygraw

ditto on keeping a deer alive that long... thanks whitetail questnon pic and pedigree...sorry Mark.
