Texas has the largest group of melanistic deer of any State. I have been trying to get a set of testicles from Texas for two years now to make a post mortem collection. My advice is find a hunter harvested melanstic buck and have it collected. As far as I know there are no melanistic deer in our industry as of yet. Scott Follett has a ranch down there and was going to get a collection but as of yet it hasn't happened. If you get a collection there are a few of us that would be interested in the semen.
