We used Ultra 24 for a couple years and on probably a dozen fawns. It worked well but we talked with our vet and he recommended we switch to Lambs milk replacer because it has a higher fat content. Something he said fawns really need because of their high metabolism. We used DuMor Blue Ribbon Lamb Mild Replacer on Thunder and we were very happy with it.
ya goats milk goes for about 6$ gal , from a guy in kuttstown pa, thats nuts . it the best thing both hum, babys and deer fawns can grow up on ,, the ( curd ) is so much smaller , i think its worth it if you just have a few
Fox Valley has worked great for us for many years. We will be using it again this year. We have very few stool issues, and have been very satisfied with the growth rate. Also very easy to mix. (no clumps)

I got to see first hand some size difference in fawns last year raised on Red Cap. Great body mass, some early production, and there coats looked just like mom cleaned them up, shinny and thick at weening. So will be using Red Cap in my program this year.
We have used zoologic for 5 years now and could not be happier. We have never had any health issues. I would recommend it to everyone and will not use anything different.
